Ramalinga Raju Sent To Police Custody Till 22nd January

The disgraced former Chairman of Satyam Computer Services, Ramalinga Raju, has been sent to police custody till January 22. Also, any bail application will not be accepted till January 22.
Raju will now be shifted from Chanchalguda Jail to CB-CID custody where he will be interrogated.
In response to the decision, Raju’s Lawyer has said they will appeal against the police custody on Monday.
Yesterday, R Raju’s bail petition was heard in the Nampally court in Hyderabad. Raju brothers and Vadlamani were in judicial custody. On January 19, the magistrate will decide on the Sebi petition to interrogate Raju.
