Satyam Employee Commits Suicide
The Satyam scam has started showing its deathly effects, almost literally. Apparently fearing that he may lose his job, a 23-year-old employee of scam-ravaged Satyam Computer allegedly committed suicide in Chennai, police said.
Vishwa Venkatesan, hailing from Salem, on Wednesday consumed poison. He was referred to the General Hospital where he died, they said.
Fear of losing his job drove him to take the extreme step, they said. Venkatesan had earlier also made similar attempts after the scam broke out early this month but was saved due to the timely action, police added.
We urge all Satyamites to believe in themselves and not low this one event to hit their confidence and selief belief negatively. Remebering it’s one man’s fault not the companies and you as an employee are not at all to be blamed. you still possess the talent. Nothing is lost, just go out there and fight. You are sure to win!
